Sydney Water is investigating and repairing wastewater pipes, stormwater pipes and maintenance holes in the Towradgi area starting next month.

Sydney Water is investigating and repairing wastewater pipes, stormwater pipes and maintenance holes in the Towradgi area starting next month.

 

Work is planned along Pioneer Road and Edgar Street, Towradgi.

 

The work involves:

 

  • inspecting and repairing maintenance holes
  • inspecting pipes with closed circuit television (CCTV)
  • cleaning pipes
  • installing structural liners in pipes
  • rehabilitating sewer junctions.

 

This work will not affect water or wastewater services.

 

It is expected this work will commence in early September and be completed in December this year.

 

Work hours will be 7 am to 6 pm Monday to Friday and 8 am to 1 pm on Saturdays. No work is planned on Sundays or public holidays.

 

Some out of hours work may be required and residents will be notified before the start of night work.
