The Member for Kiama, Gareth Ward MP, and the Member for South Coast, Shelley Hancock MP, today put petty politics before the people of the Illawarra and South Coast when they voted against a Bill to ban single-use plastic bags in New South Wales.

The Liberal and Nationals Government has so far failed to announce the opening of Round 4 of the Port Kembla Community Investment Fund (PKCIF) more than 12 months since the last round of applications were invited.
